Driving by Hadley Elementary today, I saw the demolition crews taking it down. They were nice enough to let me snap a few photographs of what was left.

Polar Express Days

Thanks to the hard work of Mrs. Gryzb, the PTC, and the many parent volunteers we had a very successful Polar Express Sale last week. Students were able to go shopping and buy presents for family members. As of Thursday, over 1300 items were sold. Also a special thanks to Small Town Dollar Store in Hadley and Dollar General for supplying the school with discounted items for the sale.

Metamora Tree Lighting

And not to be outdone by the Hadley Tree Lighting, the 2nd Graders had their tree lighting ceremony in Metamora on Thursday night as well.  Hot chocolate was served and Mr. Kaiser was on hand to lead the carol singing again.  Thanks to everyone for coming out and making it a great evening

Hadley Tree Lighting

On Tuesday night, the first graders, their teachers, and their families gathered in downtown Hadley for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration. First graders sang Christmas Carols and enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate afterward. Special thanks to Mrs. Schultz for organizing the event and also to Mr. Kaiser for working with the students and preparing them to sing. It was a great time!
